I am getting my tattoo!
Last night I finally went in and talked Sean about what I want and where. He is going to draw something up for me and I am going to get it on the 20th!
I'm going to wait to show you until it's done, but I am really excited about. The guy doing it is named Sean Williams. www.CollectiveTattoo.com You should go look at this stuff, he is really talented and has done a lot of work for my friends, so I know he does good work, and I really like the general style of the art he does.

And this is my friend, Doug's arm. He also did Doug's entire back, but I failed to find a picture of it... which is unfortunate because it is kind of awesome.
But like I said... He is a really talented guy, so you should check him out.

ReplyDeleteI just got my 5th at the beginning of Feb, and the coolest part was that one of the black belts at my school owns his own tattoo shop, and he did it for me.
Downside- you have to stay off the mat for at least two weeks. More if it's not fully healed. Mine scabbed a bit, so I had to wait 3 weeks.
It is my first! I am so excited!! =)
ReplyDeleteThat is really awesome you had one of your guys do it for you! And yes... I am sad I will have to take time off the mat, but I think it will be worth it. lol And I have plenty of time to brace myself for it. haha It is the unexpected breaks I dislike.
