Sad Story

Today after Micah's piano lesson, he asked me to get 'chicken' for dinner. That means, Zaxby's.  Feeling lazy, I agreed.

Upon seeing their menu, I noticed a big yellow star, "NEW!",  It was right next to 'Fried Pickles'.

I about peed my pants.  As gross as they sound, I love fried pickles... and normally I am not a big fan of the lets fry everything mentality.  ... But I will throw down with some fried pickles any day of the week.  Sadly though, only one place around here has them, and I don't go very often.

Anyway, I could not wait until I got home to eat some, so I dug into them like a starving animal at the first red light and .... they tasted awful.

I didn't realize you could make gross fried pickles.  They had close to zero batter on them... on top of that, the batter they had was soggy... and the pickles were sliced so thin they just flopped over like a wet chip.  Ew.

It was sad.


In other news...

I was really sick last week.  Finally got better, only to discover I had ringworm!  Thanks Jiu-jitsu!

But other than that, everything has thankfully been very uneventful!
